Co-Op Campaign lets you and up to three friends play the main story together. You split loot. You revive each other.

PvP Arenas are 2v2 or 4v4 only. No solo queuing. No bots filling slots.

Special Timed Events change every month. One might cap at six players total. Another might lock teams at three.

- Go to Play, not “Quick Match” or “Lobby”. Just Play. 2.
Make sure your party is set to Open. Not Friends Only. Not Invite Only. Open. 3.
Click Find Match. Wait. Don’t tap again.
It takes 8 (12) seconds. (I timed it. Twice.)

Pro Tip: Want privacy? Go to Settings > Party > Privacy. Switch from Open to Friends Only or Invite Only.
Do this before you start playing (not) mid-match. The toggle won’t apply retroactively.
Seriously. I’ve seen people rage-quit because they invited a troll who’d been lurking in their open lobby for 17 minutes.
Also (if) your friend isn’t showing up in Social, check if they’ve disabled cross-play. Or if they changed their username last Tuesday. (Yes, that breaks invites.)

Team Modes That Actually Work Together

Squad Assault is 4v4. Capture three points in sequence. Hold each for ten seconds.
If your team rushes all at once, you die fast. I learned that the hard way. Spread out.
One flanker, one sniper, two pushers. Rotate positions every round. Stagnant teams lose.
Co-Op Story Missions share progress. Everyone gets the same story unlocks. But difficulty spikes with each extra player (not) linearly, just enough.
Two players? Fine. Four?
You’ll need better gear or smarter positioning. Loot drops scale too. Only co-op gives you Tactical Resupply Crates.
They’re rare. They’re worth fighting over.
Horde Defense is wave-based survival. You pick roles before round one. Tank, healer, engineer, spotter.
Not suggestions. Requirements. A team without a healer lasts maybe two waves.
Resources spawn centrally. You must pass ammo and medkits. No hoarding.
I’ve seen squads break because someone kept all the grenades. Don’t be that person.
There’s also Raid Relay. Timed objective chaining across maps. But it’s niche.
And Capture Grid, which feels like chess with guns. Neither is as polished as Squad Assault or Horde Defense.
